Jiangsu Institute of Parasitic Diseases continues to carry out international "cloud" training.

Since mid-October, the Institute has been continuing to carry out international online "cloud" training. From October 19 to November 1, the 14-day Seminar on Malaria Prevention and Control for Belt and Road Countries trained 23 health officials from Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Cameroon, Zambia six developing countries. From November 2 to November 15, the 14-day Seminar on Public Health and Prevention of Infectious Diseases for the Democratic Republic of the Congo trained 52 health officials from the Democratic Republic of Congo. 


Just as the curtain of the Seminar on Public Health and Prevention of Infectious Diseases for the Democratic Republic of the Congo fell, on November 17, the Seminar on Malaria Control in Senegal was officially opened, and Director Zhu Dan of Wuxi Foreign Economic and Trade Department attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The Seminar is the fifth online international training course hosted by our Institute this year, and is also the annual closing project. Forty health officials from Senegal engaged in malaria prevention and management work attended the workshop, and they will conduct 14-day online learning and communication.

Under the situation of the global impact of COVID-19, online training will become the new norm of foreign aid training. As the foreign aid training organizer of the Ministry of Commerce, we have timely adapted to the new situation, changed the traditional training methods, made good arrangements from technical equipment, implementation plan, teacher translation and training management, etc., carried out training based on national conditions and according to the actual needs of the recipient countries, completed the foreign aid training task with high quality, and obtained the general recognition of the recipient countries.
